One-Way Alternating Traffic Begins For Bridge Work On Ridgefield's Route 35 RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Alternating one-way traffic will be the rule of the road on Route 35 on Tuesday near the Fox Hill Condominium entrance in Ridgefield, police said. The Connecticut Department of Transportation will resume working on that stretch of Route 35/Danbury Road on Tuesday after a one-day delay Monday due to snow cleanup.  The one-way traffic hours will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to lessen the impact on commuting times. A project has begun to build a temporary two-way bridge for use during a year-long project to replace the small bridge over Ridgefield Brook.
