Stratford Man Finds His Way With 'From Artist To Designer & Back Again' STRATFORD, Conn. -- "From Artist to Designer & Back Again” by Stratford artist Benjamin Casiano will be the May/June art exhibit at the Stratford Library. Community Women Organize 'Tidy Up Trumbull' Cleanup Day TRUMBULL, Conn. -- The Trumbull Community Women hosted "Tidy Up Trumbull" to help clean up the Town of Trumbull.The historical society cleaned up the area at the end of Quarry Road. Participants found a large variety of items, including a scooter, a video rack, tires, carpet, a pineapple and even a coyote skeleton. The clean-up crew also discovered the "Ghost" Bridge.

New Principal Appointed At Darien's Hindley School DARIEN, Conn. -- DJ Colella was appointed to be the new principal of Hindley Elementary School by the Darien Board of Education at its April 26 meeting, the Darien Times reported. The appointment is effective July 1, and he was one of more than 50 people who applied for the position, the Darien Times said. Danbury Promotes Physical Activity, Attendance With Walking School Bus DANBURY, Conn. — A coalition of community partners is planning a “Walking School Bus” event on Wednesday, May 4 with students who attend Park Avenue Elementary School in Danbury.
