She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Ridgefield Police Department Honors Its Officer Of The Year RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Ridgefield Police Officer Mark Caswell was honored April 21 at the Leir Retreat Center as Ridgefield Police Department's Officer of the Year for 2015.  The event, which took place in Ridgefield, was hosted by the Exchange Club of Ridgefield. Caswell received plaques from both the Board of Police Commissioners and the Exchange Club, as well as a proclamation from the Town of Ridgefield.
