Manslaughter Charge For Norwalk Crash That Left 1 Dead A 25-year-old Fairfield County man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with a crash that left a 19-year-old dead. The crash, which killed Oscar Valdovinos of Norwalk, took place in Norwalk on Sunday, Nov. 27 on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive. When Norwalk officers arrived on the scene of the crash they found a single-car crash with four people injured, said Deputy Chief Terrence Blake, of the Norwalk Police. ID Released For Bridgeport Man Killed In Christmas Eve Crash Police have released the identity of a 33-year-old Fairfield County man whose vehicle plunged into an icy harbor on Christmas Eve. Bridgeport resident Jamal Gordon died during the early morning hours on Saturday, Dec. 24 after his BMW SUV left the roadway and landed in Bridgeport Harbor, said Capt. St. Vincent's Medical Center On Lockdown After Man Threatens To 'Shoot It Up,' Police Say A man is in custody after threatening to "shoot up" a Fairfield County hospital. The incident took place in Bridgeport on Wednesday, Dec. 28 at St. Vincent's Medical Center on Main Street. A man made a threat while being escorted out of the hospital that he was going to "shoot it up," said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management. Appleby said the hospital was put on lockdown as a precaution. The unidentified man was arrested a short time later by Fairfield Police. This is a developing story. The crash took place in Orange County in the town of Montgomery on Route 211 near Canning Road.
