The incident took place in Mount Sinai around 11;10 p.m. on Route 25A. Long Island Man Charged With Stabbing 50-Year-Old During Fight, Police Say A Long Island man has been charged with assault after allegedly stabbing another person during an altercation. The incident took place in New Cassel around 5:50 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 1 in the area of 846 Prospect Ave. According to detectives, two men were arguing when the incident escalated one was stabbed by the other in the chest.
