The gator was spotted in the heart of Ulster County on Monday, Oct. 24 in the town of Rosendale, and police say gator is real and was living in the window, well at least for a week. 15-Year-Old Stabs Parent With Pocket Knife At CT Residence, Police Say A Connecticut teen has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a parent with a pocket knife. The incident took place in Litchfield County around 10:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 24 on Pratt Street. According to Chief William Fitzgerald of the Winchester Police, officers responded to a call for a domestic disturbance at the home and found that a 15-year-old had stabbed a parent with a pocket knife. Man Accused Of Setting Fiancé's House On Fire In Hudson Valley A man from the region has been charged with allegedly intentionally setting his fiancé's home on fire. The fire took place in Ulster County around 1:45 a.m., on Saturday, June 22 in Saugerties. When Saugerties police officers and firefighters from the Saxton Fire District arrived on the scene they found a single-family home engulfed by fire, said Chief Joseph Sinagra of the Saugerties Police. State Police Cruiser Struck On I-84 A Connecticut State Police cruiser was hit on I-84 west as a trooper investigated another crash. The incident took place in Hartford near Exit 48 around 5 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25. According to Connecticut State Police, troopers from Troop H responded to a collision and were out of the vehicle when another vehicle crashed into their cruiser. No injuries were reported in the crash, state police said. Information was not available regarding the type of vehicle that hit the cruiser or the name of the driver.  The crash is under investigation.

The incident took place in Columbia County around 11:20 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24 in the city of Hudson, on the 200 block of Long Alley. Person Struck By Lirr Train In Pinelawn, Service Delayed Train service on the Long Island Rail Road has been suspended on one line after a person on the tracks was hit by a train. The incident took place near Pinelawn around 8:15 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25. Due to the accident, service has been suspended in both directions between Farmingdale and Ronkonkoma, said MTA on Twitter. Month-Long Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Accused Fentanyl Dealer In Hudson Valley A month-long investigation into drug sales in the Hudson Valley has led to the arrest of an alleged fentanyl dealer. Dutchess County resident Shawn W. Phillips, age 40, of the town of Red Hook, was apprehended on Friday, Oct. 21, by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force. Phillips' arrest is the result of a month-long investigation into fentanyl sales in the Dutchess County area, said Det. Sgt. Adam Harris, coordinator of the task force.
