Hewlett Man Accused Of Anti-Semitic Harassment A Long Island man was arrested for allegedly leaving anti-Semitic information on his neighbor's doorstep. The incident took place in Hewlett around midnight on Thursday, Oct. 20. According to Nassau County Police detectives, the victim's 7-year-old son was sleeping when he awoke to loud screaming. Fight Breaks Out Between Student, Teacher At Sachem North High School A fight broke out between a student and a teacher at a Long Island high school. The incident took place in Lake Ronkonkoma on Thursday, Oct. 20 at Sachem North High School. According to the Suffolk County Police, it appears the student was the primary aggressor, but no charges have been filed at this time. Police did not reveal where the fight took place. Man Nabbed For Robbing Bridgeport Grandmother As She Sat On Her Porch, Police Say A homeless man who allegedly robbed a Fairfield County grandmother as she sat on her front porch has been arrested. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 9 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13 in the Hollow section of the city. According to Bridgeport Police Det. Jeffrey A. Holtz, Norberto Santiago, age 59, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 19 for the crime. The 84-year-old victim was sitting in a chair on her porch when she was robbed. She was not injured, Holtz said. Warning Issued In Hudson Valley For Counterfeit Oxycodone Pills Containing Fentanyl Authorities in the Hudson Valley are warning residents of the increased presence of fentanyl in the area, in particular counterfeit 30mg oxycodone pills containing the dangerous drug. Since January 2022, the Dutchess County Drug Task Force has seized several thousand counterfeit prescription pills containing fentanyl through investigations conducted in the Dutchess County area, Det.
