Bay Shore Teen Indicted For Shooting Guest At Baby Shower A Long Island teen has been indicted for the shooting of a man at a woman's baby shower. Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney announced the assault charges against Javier Soto, age 16, of Bay Shore, on Friday, Oct. 14. “A baby shower should be a joyous occasion celebrating the coming of new life. 3 Store Clerks Charged In Nassau County Underage Alcohol/Tobacco Sales Detail Three store clerks were charged in connection with an underage drinking and tobacco sales operation on Long Island. The detail took place on Thursday, Oct. 13 throughout Nassau County. The following people were arrested as a result of the operation: Iqbal Asim, age 30, of Bethpage allegedly sold a vaping product to a child at Evergreen located at 199 Merrits Road, Farmingdale. He was charged with unlawfully selling tobacco to a child. Man Indicted For Murder Of Bay Shore Man While Leaving Party A man has been indicted for the murder of a Long Island man who was attacked and killed while leaving a party. Bridgeport Convicted Felon Nabbed With Drugs, Gun, Police Say A Fairfield County man was nabbed with drugs and a loaded gun after police received a tip he was selling drugs. Nnamdi Clarke, age 48, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 12 in Bridgeport. According to Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police, after receiving the information on Clarke, members of the narcotics and vice squad corroborated the information and when officers arrived on the scene Clarke fled the police on foot. 3 Found Dead By Furnace Repairman At Stamford Home, Police Say Three people were found dead inside a Fairfield County home by a furnace repairman. The incident took place in Stamford around 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 13 at a residence on Scofield Avenue. According to Assistant Chief Richard Conklin of the Stamford Police, the repairman was told to enter the rental home through the basement area to fix the furnace that was not working. Woman From Region Nabbed For Grand Larceny, State Police Say A woman from the region has been charged with grand larceny for allegedly using a person's credit cards and car without her permission. Sullivan County resident Miranda J. Stickle, age 27, of Livingston Manor, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 12, for two counts of grand larceny, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Suspect At Large After Strong-Arm Robbery Of Woman At Darien Residence Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly followed a woman home from a bank and stole a bag of cash off her lap after she pulled into her garage in Fairfield County. 5-Year-Old Falls From Second-Story Window In Hampton Bays Police on Long Island are investigating after a 5-year-old child fell from a second-story window. The incident took place in Hampton Bays around 5:55 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 13. Police Officers Hailed As Heroes For Reviving Long Island Woman Two Long Island police officers are being honored for helping to save a woman in medical distress. The incident took place in Holtsville around 5:50 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13. According to the Suffolk County Police, Officers Frederick Reed and Stacey Byrnes along with the Holbrook Fire Department provided life-saving aid to a woman in medical distress in Holbrook.
