Brookfield Y's Outdoor Pool Getting $2.6M Bubble To Allow Year-Round Use BROOKFIELD, Conn. — The Regional YMCA in Brookfield just finalized a $2.6 million project that will enable its outdoor pool to be used on a year-round basis. As part of the project, which is dubbed Building a Stronger Community, "We are putting a 'bubble' over the pool," said Marie Miszewski, president and CEO of the YMCA. Police: Swastikas Found On Stop Signs In Redding, Easton EASTON/REDDING, Conn. -- Vandalism involving swastikas painted on stop signs has been reported in recent days is causing concern in Redding and Easton, according to police in both towns.
