Ridgefield's Board Of Finance Settles On $139M Total Budget RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Ridgefield's Board of Finance settles on a $139,013,087 total budget for the town and schools for 2016-17, which represents a 3 percent increase in spending over this year, according to The Ridgefield Press. With that, the Finance Board got next year's proposed tax increase down to 2.6 percent, according to The Ridgefield Press. Westport RTM Approves $200K In Spending To Finish Sidewalk Project WESTPORT, Conn. — The Westport Representative Town Meeting has unanimously approved spending $200,000 to finish a sidewalk construction project, according to the Westport News. The project involves building a new sidewalk along Imperial Avenue and repairing the sidewalk along upper Main Street north of the downtown district, the News said.
