Bands scheduled to play at the annual event are: Bourbon Phrophacy, Whitewood, 78 All Stars and Hell in the Hallway. Thomas C. Burke, 26, of Bethel, announced on Facebook this week he was withdrawing his nomination to run in the 107th state Assembly District. White Plains Will Install Smart Card Parking Meters WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – White Plains will be replacing more than 1,000 downtown parking meters with new electronic ones, according to a report by lohud.com. About $220,000 will be spent on the project and the meters will be installed by this fall, lohud.com reported. The new battery-powered meters will accept prepaid cards, a phone app and coins, the lohud.com story said. Multi-space pay stations in municipal lots and garages also will accept Smart Cards, according to the lohud.com report.
