Judith Williams, age 42, of New Haven, was killed around 6:15 p.m., Monday, Jan. 22 on Whalley Avenue near Hudson Street in New Haven. Capt. Rose Bell of the New Haven police said officers responded to the area after a motorist called 911 and reported that he had struck a female in the roadway. The man was found around 11 a.m. in Willimantic on Monday, Jan. 23 by the Willimantic Police who responded to a report of an "untimely death," at a home on Aspen Place, state police said. The Willimantic Fire Department and paramedics from Windham Hospital also responded to the residence, where the adult male was located and pronounced dead at the scene. Man Injured In Fight Outside Stop & Shop In Trumbull Two men outside a supermarket store were arrested after allegedly getting into a fight and causing a disturbance. The incident took place in Fairfield County at the Stop & Shop on Quality Street in Trumbull on Friday, Jan. 20. Man Nabbed For Attempted Murder During Lynbrook Altercation A 36-year-old man was arrested for attempted murder for allegedly shooting another man during an altercation in a car on Long Island.
