She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Car Crashes Into LA Fitness In East Patchogue A driver was injured after crashing into the front of a Long Island fitness center. The incident occurred in North Patchogue around 2:45 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 28, at the LA Fitness on Gateway Boulevard. According to Suffolk County police, patrons were not injured, and the Brookhaven Town fire marshal and building inspector officers were notified of the crash. The injuries to the driver were described as minor.

Know Her? DoorDash Driver Wanted For Stealing $700 Worth Of Items From CT Restaurant Police are asking the public for help identifying a DoorDash driver who allegedly stole $700 worth of Apple products from a restaurant in Connecticut. The incident took place in Litchfield County around 8:15 p.m., Monday, Aug. 22 in Watertown. According to the Watertown Police, the driver stole a fanny pack containing the apple products from the Lebnani Grill in Watertown. Anyone with information is asked to contact Ofc. Man Faces Impaired Driving Charge After Crash In Area A man was arrested for alleged intoxicated driving after hitting a car in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Putnam County around 1 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 16 in the town of Kent. Police responded to the Kent Center for a report of a man who had struck a car and was possibly intoxicated, the department said. Wanted Out-Of-State Man Apprehended In Hudson Valley An out-of-state man wanted for assaulting a woman was nabbed by police in the Hudson Valley. The man was apprehended in Ulster County while officers were conducting a warrant investigation on Tuesday, Aug. 23. While conducting the investigation, officers located AJ Brown, age unknown, of Gloucester, Massachusetts, living in the hamlet of Glasco, in the town of Saugerties, Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra said. Duo Accused Of Conning Victim To Steal Wallet With Credit Cards At Huntington Station Lidl Police on Long Island are asking the public for help identifying a duo who allegedly conned a woman in order to steal and use her credit cards. The incident took place in Suffolk County at the Lidl in Huntington Station on Thursday, Aug. 18. Suspect Nabbed In Westfield Trumbull Mall Robbery, Police Say A man was arrested following his involvement in an alleged shoplifting incident that turned into a robbery at a mall in Fairfield County. Hudson Valley Duo Nabbed For Burglary At Warehouse, Police Say Two Hudson Valley men were nabbed for allegedly stealing six German-made cabinets from a warehouse. The burglary took place in Greene County around 5:15 p.m., on Monday, Aug. 22 in the town of Cario. The owner of the property informed state police that six German-made cabinets were missing from the warehouse, said Trooper Steven Nevel. CT Police Sgt. Fired For Off-Duty Traffic Stop In Which She Allegedly Harassed Woman A Connecticut police sergeant has been fired from her job after allegedly making a traffic stop while off-duty in a road-rage type of incident. New Haven Police Chief Karl Jacobson recommended on Friday, Aug. 26, the termination of Sgt. Shayna Kendall after an internal affairs investigation was completed and was found to have violated numerous department policies.
