Car Crashes Into LA Fitness In East Patchogue A driver was injured after crashing into the front of a Long Island fitness center. The incident occurred in North Patchogue around 2:45 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 28, at the LA Fitness on Gateway Boulevard. According to Suffolk County police, patrons were not injured, and the Brookhaven Town fire marshal and building inspector officers were notified of the crash. The injuries to the driver were described as minor.

The man was apprehended in Ulster County while officers were conducting a warrant investigation on Tuesday, Aug. 23. Hudson Valley Duo Nabbed For Burglary At Warehouse, Police Say Two Hudson Valley men were nabbed for allegedly stealing six German-made cabinets from a warehouse. New Haven Police Chief Karl Jacobson recommended on Friday, Aug. 26, the termination of Sgt.
