Butchered Ram Found Near River In Easton A butchered sheep was found near a river near a candle and white powder in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Easton on Sunday, Aug. 21 when a hiker found the dead sheep near the Mill River at South Park Avenue and Buck Hill Road. CT School Staffers Accused Of Failing To Report Abuse Employees of a Connecticut school have been arrested on charges of failure to report abuse by a teacher. ID Released For Man Found Burning At Park In New Canaan A man who was found burning in a park in Fairfield County has been identified by the medical examiner's office. Deputy Police Chief In Hudson Valley Dies At Age 52 Family, friends, and co-workers are mourning the loss of a Hudson Valley deputy police chief who died following a battle with cancer. Deputy Town of Newburgh Police Chief Robert DeSaye died on Tuesday, Aug. 23, in Poughkeepsie. He was 52 years old. DeSaye, who served the department for 20 years, retired in June and was promoted to deputy chief before his retirement.  DeSaye had battled a rare form of cancer for more than a year.  Since his passing, condolences have poured in from across the area. Man Wanted For Stealing From City Hall In Mount Vernon Police are investigating after a man allegedly stole money from a city hall in Westchester. The incident took place on Wednesday, Aug. 24 at the Mount Vernon Board of Water Supply. Reportedly the man stole money from the facility located at City Hall at One Roosevelt Square, according to multiple reports. Police did not respond to requests for information.
