She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Newtown Historical Society Sponsoring Clothing Drive NEWTOWN, Conn. -- The Newtown Historical Society is sponsoring a clothing drive in conjunction with the Big Brother Big Sisters of Southwestern Connecticut. The drive will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 4 at the Big Brothers Big Sisters store in Newtown.  Gently used clothing, shoes, handbags and linen will be accepted to raise money for each organization. Representatives of the historical society will be at the store to help with unloading and carrying clothing bundles.  In return, the historical society will receive 20 cents per pound for the clothing brought in that day. Please be sure to…

Ridgefield Shows Support For Safe, Sober Graduation RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The annual G.R.A.D.D. (Government of Ridgefield Against Drunk Driving) ceremony took place recently in front of Town Hall. G.R.A.D.D. is a cooperative effort between the Police Department, students, faculty, town government and citizens to attempt to ensure a safe and sober graduation period for Ridgefield students.  Police officers wear orange and white ribbons on their uniforms, G.R.A.D.D. flags are displayed at all town buildings and orange and white ribbons are affixed to patrol units to show support for the graduating class.
