She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Stratford EMS, Fire Department Conduct Training Exercises In Extricating STRATFORD, CONN. -- Stratford Emergency Medical Services and the Stratford Fire Department are conducting joint training exercises in extricating people during motor vehicle accidents.This training will help the groups practice their roles and skills during these complicated events and build teamwork and camaraderie between the two departments.  The training simulates several different scenarios, including rollover, patients who are pinned or crushed and more.
